On December 28, Business Leaders’ Federation “Women for Tomorrow” hosted the New Year Gala Event dedicated to summarizing the year.
The event became unforgettable with the performance of Nikoloz Rachveli the Symphony Orchestra of Georgia and the specially invited honorable guest - the internationally acclaimed musician Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi.
Within the framework of the Gala Event, the ceremony of presenting Ekaterine Chavchavadze Award and awarding the winners was also held. The successful business leader women were awarded by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani and the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality in Georgia Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and the Chair of the Supervisory Board of Business Leaders’ Federation “Women for Tomorrow” Nino Kobakhidze.
Ekaterine Chavchavadze Award was handed over to the Co-Founder of the company “Assorti” Nato Tsomaia, Founders of the Design Studio “Rooms”- Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia and the Founder of the LTD “Doctor Rodger Service Management” Irina Tchelidze. The initiative of establishing Ekaterine Chavchavadze Award itself is unique and the idea belongs to Business Leaders’ Federation “Women for Tomorrow” through the collaboration with Zarapxana, the leading jewellery manufacturing company in Georgia.
From the next year, the process of working on the organizational issues of the Award will continue intensively and the Award will be handed over to the successful women in various nominations, such as Special Contribution to the Business and Economic activities and Women and Innovation.
Ekaterine Chavchavadze Award represents the proper appreciation of the valuable work of the women who significantly contributed to the development of the economy, culture, economic diplomacy and science in the country. Through their own example, they represent the role model for the others.
It is noteworthy that the first partner of the Gala Event and the first ceremony of handing over the Ekaterine Chavchavadze award was Millenium Challenge Account Georgia (MCA Georgia). The media partner of the Event is News Agency Business Media Georgia (BMG).
