On September 29, BTL hosted the first International Congress of Cardiac Surgery. The event was held at Radisson Blue Iveria and was attended by more than 100 people. The Congress aimed to cover the latest developments in Cardiac Surgery, as well as to share the innovative methodology in Cardiac Surgery.
The program was distinguished by its diversity and well-known speakers.
Dr. Carlos Amessem talked about using 3D printing of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery; Z.Katsitadze talked about the mechanical complications of Myocardial infarction; professor Boris Todorov talked about the results of the reconstruction of the aortic valve using an Ozarg method.
Irakli Gogorishvili shared the first experience of Transcatheter aortic valve implantation in Georgia with the participants of the Congress.
During the congress, the participants listened to 20 reports about the most actual and acute issues.
This congress opened the door to new business challenges that allow the professionals to get acquainted with each other's experience.
